Brantley Keith Gilbert was born in Jefferson (Georgia) in 1985 and is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. While his musical style can be broadly classified as country, it’s best described as a blend of Southern rock (a subgenre of rock music that developed in the Southern United States from rock and roll, country music, and blues, and is focused generally on electric guitar and vocals), country, and rock music. He’s had a stellar career with 3 studio albums, 1 compilation album, 11 singles, and 9 music videos. His second album (Halfway to Heaven) hit #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and has been certified Platinum in the US. He also penned fellow country musician Jason Aldean’s singles My Kinda Party and Dirt Road Anthem (the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy Award). He’s received numerous accolades including 1 American Country Award, 1 Academy of Country Music Award, 1 Country Music Association Award, and 2 Billboard Music Award nominations. He’s also toured with renowned artists Willie Nelson, Thomas Rhett, Eric Church, Toby Keith, Brian Davis, Greg Bates, Chase Bryant, Aaron Lewis, and many others.
